About Rachel

Hi beautiful people! Being a wedding and boudoir photographer is my absolute passion and it’s my honor to capture some of the most important days of your life!

I graduated from the School of Visual Arts in NYC with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I always loved taking pictures, but during college I truly discovered my love for photography. In 2010, I opened Lux Amore Photography and the rest is history! For me, photography is a fine art.

I’m truly passionate about supporting my LGBTQ+ community, especially in the current climate of the Southern USA. I have many connections within the wedding vendor community who are also in our community (or passionately allied) to ensure my clients have the best experience planning their wedding with supportive vendors.

Aside from photography, I enjoy all forms of fine art & crafting, riding my horse and trying new local restaurants with my partner. My other full time job is being a mom to my adorable daughter and 2 cats.
