I want to know what puts a sparkle in your eyes, warmth in your heart and flutters in your tummy! What lights your fire? For me, it’s photography - creating photographic works of art.
I’m Rachel Furland and I am the owner and lead photographer of Lux Amore Photography. Lux Amore means “Love of Light” in Latin and I love sharing my light drawings with the world.
My goal as a photographer is to tell your story through my lens, whether that be your journey to self love or celebrating a milestone with you. If you are a boss babe who wants photos that will make your friends jealous! I may just be the perfect photographer for you!
I pride myself on providing an amazing client experience from your first interaction with me. I meet with all my prospective clients in person (or over a phone call) to ensure I am a perfect fit for your dream photographer.

I graduated from the School of Visual Arts in NYC with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I always loved taking pictures, but during college I truly discovered my love for photography. In 2010, I opened Lux Amore Photography and the rest is history! For me, photography is a fine art.
Aside from photography, all forms of fine art & crafting and binging Netflix Originals, but most of my free time is taken up by my adorable daughter!
